Week 28
Hello Everyone!
I hope everyone is doing well! I've had a bit of a cold the last few days, but it has not kept me down! We have had some great results with our 21 day Challenge. We are so grateful for the Lord answering our prayers! Last week we had 8 of the less active members on our list attend church! We are so grateful for these members and their attendance at church again. It's been quite awhile for several of them! It is our hope that they will be touched by the spirit and continue in their journey back into the fold. President Nelson has asked us to "find the one"! If we can find one, we can find many...
We are on the last part of the house we are living in to be painted! The laundry room and the stairs to the basement. One side of the laundry room is done and we are waiting until we can move the dryer, washer etc. back so that we can do the other side. It shouldn't take long. We have the stairs all sanded and are waiting until a less busy time to paint them. Hopefully in the next two weeks they will be finished too! The outside of the house was also painted, but thankfully not by us! I'll have to include a picture.
The work keeps moving on! We are now reading the Book of Mormon with several ladies each evening and a couple of others once a week. It seems the more we read the Bof M, the more there is to gain from it. Each person has their own ideas as to what the scriptures mean to them, and they are so right! Each time I read I gain more insight on the things I have already read. It is a never ending source of inspiration!
We were also able to attend the temple this last week and I got to use my new temple bag my sister made! I gave the bag I had been using to a member who went with us. She was thrilled! It's always a joyous experience to go to the house of the Lord and perform ordinances for those who have passed on. There is a never ending supply of names.
Have a wonderful rest of the week!
Love,
Sister Tuha
