Week 48

My Texas family! Two sons, two daughters, spouses and children!

Hello Everyone!

As usual this last month has just whizzed by! We have had 2 baptisms this past week! It is so wonderful to have new members join our little branch!

Thanksgiving week was really great! I got permission to go to Texas and spend the week with my four children and their families. It was sooooo good to see them. I drove 3 hours to Wichita, Kansas and picked up my oldest daughter at the airport so she could drive with me the rest of the way. 5 1/2 hours. It was so nice to have her along on the drive to Texas. It was so nice to be able to spend a day or so with each of my children and their families! For Thanksgiving we had so much food. Each person made something and several people made more than one dish. It was all so good! We all went to see Moana 2 which was pretty good. I participated in "White Friday" while in Texas. In case you don't know what White Friday is, it's spending time in the temple! My daughter Analyn and her husband work in the temple on Fridays. I went with them and was able to do ordinances for about 16 ancestors. It was the first 'White Friday" I had been to and would like to keep this tradition going! I Enjoyed being with my family so much! It was hard to say goodbye to them when I left!

A couple of weeks ago we had to do apartment checks again. We know the elders and sisters don't really like it, but one elder said that he will miss knowing what character we will come in if he gets transferred. That made us feel pretty good. This last time we went as Dust Busters AKA Ghost Busters. I'll include a picture. We went to all 15 apartments and all but a couple got a "Celestial Clean" rating.

It was impressed on my mind so much these past few weeks about how much our Heavenly Father loves each of us. How much he wants us to return back to him when our earthly days are over. If we can follow Jesus Christ and do those things which he would have us do, our happiness on this earth and in the next life would be beyond just happiness, it would be pure joy! If you can think about when you were the happiest and then double it, you might begin to feel the joy that is yours as you follow our Savior Jesus Christ. Nothing will ever make you happier. I have tears streaming down. my face as I think how joyful and full of love we can be as we follow our Savior Jesus Christ. I have so much love for my family and I know that our Heavenly Father loves us even more than that. It's hard to imagine how much He loves us and wants us to return to Him.

Love,
Sister Tuha

Our last RS trip to the temple. One lady that's in the picture hadn't been to the temple in 6 years.
She finally got her recommend and joined us this time. Tears of joy were shed in the celestial room.
